Where do people get the words from? Admittedly it's probably one of the reasons I'm not a writer, but other people can whitter on about stuff for hours, me I guess, well I must be succinct. Lets take Neil Gaimen for example, on the other hand lets not as he is a writer and therefore gets a lot of practise at this writing business. I on the other hand am a sound engineer, so I guess I just make the words sound good once or while they're spoken. If you couldn't tell I'm practising whittering ;-) Friday, February 22, 2002
Mid week evenings out are always fun. Went dancing and got a little drunk last night, good fun, although getting up for work on a Friday isn't ;-) Tuesday, February 19, 2002
It's the year all my friends and family are getting married. The very lovely Chris and Karen. My best friend Nigel (who I've known since I was 4) and Nikki are tying the knot after three kids and seven years of living together and my cousin Susie and her boyfriend... and here's me still single, hopefully I'll find someone who I can drag along in order not to seem so alone ;-) Friday, February 15, 2002
Julie Julie Julie, that's right I met up with our very own JJJ yesterday on her brief visit to London. Hope I didn't bore her too much ;-) Monday, February 11, 2002

I feel like I'm stuck in an endless boring repeating loop at the moment, I feel like all the fun and happy side of me is in a mood and ignoring me and I can't work out what I've done to it... still major change is coming, I've got to move house mid april and I'll probably end up in a place that will in fact be mine, that I'll be buying :-) Tuesday, February 05, 2002
I probably wasn't looking hard enough, but I've just found this nice site dedicated to Terry Gilliam, ex Python and one of my all time favourite film directors and his next film is going to be Good Omens, which I finished reading this morning :-) Saturday, February 02, 2002
*changes mood and topic* Monsters Inc. is cool, did anyone else laugh so much at the "using mainly spoons" gag? *grin*
A really good week followed by a really bad one, topped off with a cold. Sounds about right to me. February is going... [EDIT] ...to be brighter though :-) Friday, February 01, 2002
Since when were you not aloud to be protectionist about your own job, if not keeping it means losing the interesting things to do, decent working hours and 200 quid a month... bloody BBC attachment schemes. |
