Kettlegirl not necessarily the best name for a band, but really when you think about it the Beatles was kind of cheesy. What is he going on about you ask, or don't, depends whether or not you care... well, I reply to your possible imagined thought of a question, that's if you asked it, I went and saw the band Kettlegirl last night in a strange basement behind an orange door. And they were actually quite good, which is in fact high praise indeed from a bloke like myself. I can see my review quoted in now in different forms on various posters "...actually quite good..." "they (Kettlegirl) were actually quite good" "they were.. ..good" "actually". The possible combinations are endless. Quite.

Yeah good songs good singers good guitarist. Quite good.

Saw Ghost World on Sunday, it was good, but not quite as good as it should've been. But it was exactly the kind of film I'd expect from the director of Crumb, so I wasn't really dissapointed. Thora Birch didn't seem quite right for the role though.

Having had a week of very fitful sleeping, I discovered that all you need to do is avoid sleeping completely one night and then you'll sleep like a rock the following night :-)

Is it time for another moan? I think it may be. I went for a job interview on Monday, the interview went well but I didn't get it. Okay that wasn't really a moan more a sort of statement, but having had a few interviews recently and not got any of them I'm beginning to think I'm really quite crap at them. Trouble with the BBC is you have to apply for every job, you can't just get promoted, I could do any of the jobs with ease, I'm just crap at interviews.

It may not have been a dressing up kind of Halloween, but it was a drunk and happy one :-)
